Sometimes, photos need that little extra something. And it can’t be done with just a camera and reality alone. So why not add a layer of doodles?
Choose your photo
For this tutorial, I will be using Procreate, but the steps will be the same no matter the program you choose. Bring your photo into your program.
Choose your brush!
I want to do simple line art, so I’m going to go with the studio brush for clean strokes. Test out different brushes for the style you’d like to achieve.
Begin drawing!
Make another layer, and begin drawing. Again, play with the brushes and as little or many colors as you’d like. I personally like that my photo already has a lot of color, and adding the white details make the photo pop without being overbearing.
